Cindy Class is the Director of Diversity & Inclusion for CFO at Prudential, and is responsible for developing and driving the D&I strategy across finance by collaborating with key stakeholders to recruit, engage and develop top talent, and to continuously strengthen a culture of inclusion.

Cindy joins Prudential from JPMorgan’s Cash Equities Controllers team within the Corporate & Investment Bank. She had previously stepped out of finance to pursue non-profit D&I as Director of Corporate Development at ALPFA National where she consulted with Diversity & Inclusion leaders across 60+ Fortune 500 companies to enable recruitment of top diverse talent, , employee engagement, development, advancement, retention, branding as an employer of choice & thought leader, and business development. Cindy also led ALPFA’s Veterans Initiative to support the successful transition from military to corporate leadership, attracting 1,000+ veteran members.

As the former Executive Director of ALPFA New York, Cindy led the largest chapter nationally, and served as a business partner to the Board of Directors to execute its growth strategy. Prior to ALPFA, Cindy worked within Fixed Income Finance at Mizuho Securities managing P&L across mortgage, treasuries, agencies, repos, futures & options, corporate bonds and debt capital markets. She was also part of the Global Repo Finance team within Global Markets and Investment Banking Finance at Merrill Lynch for five years.

Cindy began her career 2006 CFO Finance and Accounting Analyst Program after completing her BS in Finance from Pace University’s Lubin School of Business and Phorzheimer Honor’s College. Cindy has held numerous board roles within ALPFA NY overseeing all professional leadership development, including the signature Women of ALPFA program. She has also held numerous leadership roles within employee resource groups, including the Asian Leadership Network at Bank of America and the West Asian Middle Eastern North African Network at Merrill upon its’ launch.
