Kathy Bowman-Williams serves as the Head of Diversity and Inclusion for Day Pitney LLP. She has more than 20 years of combined experience in compliance, diversity and inclusion, training and development and talent management. She is responsible for diversity and inclusion initiatives and development programs for women and people of color.
Prior to Joining Day Pitney Kathy was the Vice President and Regional Diversity Officer for Morgan Stanley. In her role at Morgan Stanley Kathy focused on the identification and development of diverse and female Financial Advisors, Business Development and building an inclusive culture for all employees.
In Kathy’s tenure at Verizon she launched the “Competitive Advantage” workshops for women and people of color, led the charge to reposition the Employee Resource Groups, and rolled out the Community Investment Program globally to more than 30 countries.
In the community Kathy serves as the Foundations and Community Engagement Chair for the Central New Jersey Chapter of Jack and Jill of America and the Treasurer for the Brooklyn Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.
Kathy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from State University College At Buffalo.
