Esu Ma’at is the Director of Diversity and Inclusion for USTA Eastern. He has a track record of success helping clients match their business goals and objectives with diversity and inclusion solutions. He has been particularly effective enhancing organizational culture and leveraging D&I to make a tangible impact on a wide range of organizational goals and objectives.

Esu designed the D&I framework currently underpinning the USTA Eastern Diversity and Inclusion Plan. Innovations such as the Hispanic Outreach Initiative, the Employee Engagement Taskforce, the supplier diversity program and the D&I Leadership Insititute have all positively impacted the business model of the organization.

Esu is experienced in managing Business Resource Groups, Community Outreach & Engagement, Strategic Partnerships, Cross-cultural Dexterity (Unconscious Bias) Training and D&I Measurement & Evaluation (D&I Scorecard / Dashboard). Overall, his approach reflects a modern D&I construct, including an inspiring vision, complimentary values, a culture of inclusion and talent management strategies which all focus on meeting goal-oriented metrics.

Esu holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Master of Science Degree in Sports Management from Columbia University. He has also completed D&I courses at Cornell University.
