Coordinated Care Services, Inc.

Tanesha Cameron-Cole was raised in Brooklyn, New York in a family that valued education and service to the community. At a young age Tanesha recognized that success does not happen on its own, it comes from the support of others coupled with commitment and a strong work ethic. Throughout her time in high school, Tanesha recognized the gaps that exist for urban youth and sought to use her skills for the benefit of others. Tanesha spent afternoons after school and on Saturdays tutoring local elementary and middle schoolers and serving as a mentor. These experiences sparked her passion for advocacy and supporting youth.

Tanesha attended Syracuse University (SU) and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy. Tanesha later went on to earn a Master of Business Administration degree from Syracuse University with a focus on strategic management and program development. Tanesha has devoted her career to working with underserved populations and focused supportive services for youth. Following graduation, Tanesha worked in the Psychology Department at SU on multiple behavioral research projects focused on undergraduates, Syracuse teens and HIV positive populations. She continued her career at SU providing supportive services to underrepresented undergraduate and graduate students as Director of the Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP). Tanesha later shifted her skills and experience to the elementary and middle school populations as a Site Director for Say Yes to Education. Currently, Tanesha works in partnership with Onondaga County and Syracuse City School District as Program Manager for Family Support for Student Success. In this role, Tanesha manages over 50 employees who provide support to children and families to help bridge the gap between home and school.

Tanesha is a Vice President and Board Member of the Image Initiative, Inc., a non-profit organization focused on the empowerment and education of young women in Syracuse through the Annual Sisters Empowering Sisters Conference, along with afterschool and mentoring opportunities. Tanesha lives in Syracuse with her husband and 3 sons who keep her busy and amaze her each day. Tanesha continues to engage and support diverse populations as they face societal and systematic barriers and will devote her time and energy to help youth achieve their full potential.
