Dr. Asia McCleary-Gaddy is the Director of Diversity & Equity as the new Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine at Seton Hall University in Nutley New Jersey. As the Director of Diversity & Equity, she is responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of all programs focused on addressing issues of diversity. Prior to her position at the School of Medicine, Dr. McCleary-Gaddy worked as an Analyst at the Vermont Department of Health, where she evaluated the impact of the social determinants of health for Vermont’s rural and low income communities. Dr. McCleary-Gaddy holds a bachelor’s degree from Rice University and received her PhD in Experimental Social Psychology with a focus on diversity, stigma, and health from the University of Vermont.
