Dave Ferrara is the Senior Manager Talent Acquisition at GAF, the World’s Largest Roofing Manufacturer. Dave joined GAF in 2014 and manages a team of 7 HR Professionals supporting GAF’s hiring initiatives throughout North America. Dave is championing GAF’s Diversity & Inclusion initiatives which includes but not limited to the successful hiring of Women, Minorities, Veterans and People with Disabilities. Dave is an active member of Tri-State Diversity Council, National Business & Disability Council @ the Viscardi Center, National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), Society of Women Engineers (SWE), Employment Horizons (Disability organization) and Workforce Opportunity Services (Military organization).
Prior to joining GAF, Dave was VP – Corporate Recruiter for Bank of America’s Global Commercial Bank where he spent 9+ years supporting one of Bank of America’s largest divisions. Dave was a Global D&I Ambassador and active member of National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA), National Society of Hispanic MBA (NSHMBA), National Business and Disability Council (NBDC) and multiple Veteran Organizations participating in many Career Fair events throughout the country. Dave was also recognized by the Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities – NYC for his work and support with the Goodwill organization.
Before joining GAF, Dave was President of David Anthony Personnel Assoc., Inc., an executive search firm in Northern NJ for 20 years. Dave holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Montclair State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from William Paterson University.
