Alexander Marion currently serves as the Press Secretary for Syracuse Mayor Stephanie Miner. He is one of the youngest people to ever hold that position in City government. In that role, Marion is the chief spokesperson for the Mayor and her administration and has dealt with policy issues ranging from infrastructure and public safety to telecommunications and economic development. Prior to his work in the Miner administration, Marion was a communications director for a New York City-based state legislator. A Syracuse native, he is a 2012 graduate of St. John’s University.
