Ellen Ornato is an engaging, sharp speaker and facilitator with a warm, creative style. Ellen has facilitated challenging conversations around cultural diversity, conflict management, unconscious bias, personality type, and communication styles since 1995. She brings a rich background in municipal, non-profit, education, and private industry workplaces to The Next Peace (www.thenextpeace.com) workshops and she regularly facilitates leadership and performance management sessions around the U.S.
Ellen co-founded ConnectAnd Improv (www.connectandimprov.com) with Jenny Drescher in 2014 to marry their passion for improvisation with their broad knowledge of interpersonal workplace skills. Their fun, highly interactive workshops build skills in public speaking, networking, customer service & team building.
Ellen holds an MA in Urban Planning and BA in Sociology/Spanish. She is certified in MBTI, Unconscious Bias, and DISC. She is the education director for LiveKind (www.livekind.org).
