Jessie Khadar is a Quality Leader managing Aerospace systems requirements for United Technologies’ Pratt & Whitney division. She has been with UTC for more than 20 years, serving in multiple divisions in the Environment, Health and Safety field. Now she leads a team focused on ensuring compliance to Aerospace Quality requirements.
Jessie’s 20 years of experience with UTC includes time working in manufacturing, lab safety, safety knowledge transfer and auditing. Her experience as an audit team leader allowed her to focus on measuring effectiveness of management systems, a role that brought her to more than 40 countries. She has also developed leadership training programs to providing technical and soft skill learning to operations and R&D leadership across Europe and Asia. Her world-wide travels have given her exposure to very diverse cultures and the ability to interact in those cultures.
Jessie received her doctorate in Organizational Leadership with the focus of her study on leadership attributes of Generation Y. Gen Y is just now entering the workforce and her research focused on how they perceive leaders, and how traditional leadership styles influence this generation of workers. She included more than 15 different industry segments in her research.
