Samantha Santos

Samantha Santos is Bloomberg L.P.’s Diversity & Inclusion Head of the Americas. In this role, she develops and drives Bloomberg’s diversity and inclusion efforts for the US, Canada, and Latin America and ensures alignment with business goals and objectives; She manages the execution of global diversity & inclusion Business Plans for the Engineering and Operational Support groups, oversees D&I leadership development platforms globally and manages the LGBT & Ally and Working Families networks’ of over 2000 employees.

Prior to this role, Samantha was a Senior Human Resources Business Partner for the Engineering group at Bloomberg, responsible for implementing effective HR strategies and solutions while leading a team of HR business partners for a global business unit of 4,000 engineering employees. Samantha oversaw daily Human Resource operations including workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development. Before Bloomberg, Samantha was a Human Resources professional across the finance, technology, marketing and health care industries.

Samantha holds a MS in Human Resources Management from the New York Institute of Technology and received her BA in Psychology from Niagara University. She is a mentor for American Corporate Partners and Read Ahead, and actively volunteers with several non-profits such as the Harlem Educational Activities Fund (HEAF) and God’s Love We Deliver.
