Karlie L. Ilaria is an experienced business professional who has worked to advance diversity and inclusion in the workplace for the past decade. Karlie currently heads the global diversity and inclusion efforts for leading law firm Paul Hastings LLP. In this role, she directs the strategy and execution of the firm’s diversity and inclusion program, which focuses on creating a culture of inclusion, recruiting and developing the best talent, and integrating diversity into the core business of the firm and in the legal industry.
Karlie began her diversity career in 2008 with MasterCard Worldwide as director, Global Diversity & Inclusion, where she helped build MasterCard’s global diversity strategy and business resource groups, and was an integral part of the Executive Women’s Initiative. Karlie began her career in marketing communications and has more than 20 years of professional experience with a variety of companies ranging from Fortune 500 corporations to technology start-ups to large global law firms. Karlie serves on the board for the Thirty Percent Coalition, whose mission is to promote gender diversity, including women of color, on corporate boards.
