Julia joined Bristol-Myers Squibb in 2015 as a Sourcing Associate in R&D Global Procurement (GP) responsible for driving several complex sourcing initiatives for early phase clinical trials as well as Business Insights & Analytics. She has transitioned her role within GP and is now a Senior Sourcing Associate supporting Commercial and Medical initiatives. Julia’s experience includes analytics, strategic planning, marketing, project management, and matrix team leadership across Commercial and R&D medical device and BioPharma healthcare organizations.
In addition to her role in Global Procurement, Julia is a passionate and active proponent of diversity and inclusion inside and outside of BMS. Julia is a founding member and leader of BMS’s newest People & Business Resource Group (PBRG) as a Chair of CLIMB, as well as their Communications Lead and former Global Chapter Lead. Julia has been a member of Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) for over 6 years and has held various leadership, speaker, and volunteer roles. She is currently serving her second term as Co-Chair of Tomorrow’s Executives, the young professionals’ affinity group of HBA’s Metro Chapter and is a former Co-Chair of Fit to Lead, an HBA NY/NJ Chapter affinity group that combines fitness with leadership development.
When she’s not at work Julia is often listening to a podcast, training for a triathlon, or enjoying the outdoors. Julia is very passionate about advancing women’s leadership and empowering her peers to achieve their full potential.
