Nandini P. Nair is a partner in Greenspoon Marder LLP’s Immigration and Naturalization practice group. Ms. Nair focuses her practice on analysis and processing of U.S. visas, employment-based and family-based applications, naturalization applications and other immigration benefits, as well as, immigration strategy and corporate policy development, training and compliance, immigration consequences of mergers, acquisitions and other corporate changes. She has a diversified clientele including individuals, families and start-ups to multinational corporations.
Her interest in immigration law stems from her personal background, having emigrated from India to the United States, from her belief in the essential role immigrants play and the positive contributions they make to American society, and from her desire to help people of all backgrounds achieve their goals.
Throughout her almost 2 decades in the field, she has helped hundreds of people immigrate to the United States to achieve their American dream. She has counseled clients through the global financial crisis and the ever-changing immigration rules and policies. She has been part of their immigration journey but not just by processing their paperwork but also empathizing, encouraging, navigating and strategizing the complexities of the immigration system. She would make extraordinary efforts on behalf of her clients-engaging member of Congress to assist in a resolution of a case, communicating with US consulate officers and the Department of State and relevant decision-makers at the US Department of Labor and Department of Homeland Security.
