Linda Garza is an Associate Director of Technology at AT&T in Piscataway. She has been an IT Professional for over 30 years doing software development, analysis, project and vendor management, and currently manages a team of several hundred internal employees and outsourced associates. Linda earned a Computer Science degree from Douglass College and later in her career, an MBA at Rutgers Business School with induction into the Business National Honor Society and selection by her peers as “Student Most Likely to Become a Positive Role Model in Business.” Linda often says her job is IT but her passion is Diversity and Inclusion (D&I). She actively participates in and helps lead several of AT&T’s Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) including HACEMOS, Women of AT&T and Professional 50 Forward. Linda is also supports HISPA, a role model program for Hispanic professionals to encourage Hispanic students to pursue higher education. Linda has extended her D&I support as a member of the Tri-State Diversity Council, taking on the role as the AT&T local NJ council representative in recent years. In 2018, Linda was one of two recipients of TSDC NJ Volunteer of the Year recognition award. Linda is happily married to Paul, her husband of 25 years and resides in Edison. She enjoys watching sports (Go RU!) and spending time with family at the shore.
