Dennis Sanabria is a native of the Bronx, New York. A graduate of Herbert Lehman College, Sanabria has a Bachelor’s degree in Health Services Administration. He currently serves as a Patient Access Supervisor for Crouse Health. In this role, Sanabria proactively monitors the daily patient registration processes and procedures to maintain the highest level of efficiency and accuracy and to facilitate proper payment to the hospital for provided services. He effectively monitors payer denials and minimizes impact by working collaboratively with Patient Financial Services. He assists department leadership by collecting and preparing data for the department CQI program in a timely and organized fashion. Sanabria proactively communicates with staff and keep them informed on a regular basis or as needed regarding policy changes in specialized areas. Additionally, he performs staff management functions related to employee selection, on-boarding/orientation, coaching/development, staffing, work assignments, performance management and goal alignment as guided by hospital policy and procedures. Sanabria has been a member of the Crouse Health team for 9 years.
