Bertha E. Jacobs, professional social work career began 30 years ago after she obtained her Graduate Degree. Her experiences include mental health with diverse populations, both inpatient and in community settings, facilitation of groups and workshops.

Within the last ten years, she also worked with children and young adults who had spectrum disorders, as well as, other physical, developmental, and mental health issues. Since 2012, she has worked primarily with the Geriatric population.

Bertha is a licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-R), New York State Education Department, Albany, New York

She is an active member of NASW-New York State Chapter and serves on the Central Division Steering Committee. On the statewide level, she is a former Board of Director’s member and currently serves as the Chair of the Diversity Committee.
